This is my all time favorite cocktail! It’s sour and fruity with a kick. I usually double the recipe to make two at a time.
For this recipe you’ll need:
- 1 ounce vodka (chilled is best)
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 2 ounces limoncello (homemade of course)
- 1 teaspoon sugar or sugar syrup
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves (or substitute fresh basil leaves)
- ice
Muddle the mint and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Add all of the remaining ingredient except the ice. Stir and taste. Add more sugar if needed.
Add the ice and shake. Strain into a martini glass and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
