Smokey Pork Rub

I love the spicy and smokey taste of this spice rub on pork chops and ribs, but you can use it with any cut of pork.  This recipe makes enough spice rub for many meals.

For this recipe you’ll need:

  • 9 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Mix everything together and store in an airtight container.

Rub a generous amount the spice mixture onto all surfaces of the pork.  I use 1-2 tablespoons per pork chop.  Let the meat rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.  Grill as usual.
